Big writing: What Would Be The Best Job For You And Why?

The best job for me would be being a photographer. The first reason why is because its fun. Second reason would be because you can make your own work hours. Lastly would be because you can travel all around the world just to take picture! Being a photographer would be the best job for me.

Being a photographer can be very fun! The reason why is because you can meet different people and maybe make new friends. Also you can learn a lot about where you travel! You could also learn how to be a better photographer in photography classes, which can be very enjoyable. Being a photographer can be very fun!

Being a photographer can also mean you can make your own work hours! So is you wanted to you could wake up at 9:00 a.m. and watch a couple of shows and then get ready and then go take some pictures for a wedding! After the wedding you could go get dinner and stay up late watching T.V., this is the schedule of a day as a photographer. Of course there will also be days where you work from 6:00 a.m.to 9:00 p.m. taking photos for a magazine! Although, somedays may be hard, being a photographer can be very enjoyable.

Also a photographer means you may have to travel a lot. One morning you could be in Paris for a fashion show next thing you'll be in Dubai doing a nature photo shoot . It may seem as if it could be tiring, which it could but you should do what you love doing. Traveling can cost a lot of money, so you should definitely make the company pay for your flight. Being a photographer means a lot of things, one of them is traveling.

The best job for me would definitely be being a photographer! Being a photographer is very fun. Its also great because you can make your own work hours. You also get to travel a lot! being a photographer would definitely be the best job for me.

What were my successes? 
I think our successe was the hands-on demos. It made the audience more intrigued which made the group less bored.

What barriers did I encounter, and how did I overcome these barriers?

The biggest barrier we encountered was the formality. Usually in the school we go to presentations are often less formal, of course we figured things out and learned how to be more formal in our presentation. 

What did I learn from this experience? 
I learned that even if you dont have lots of time you should try to finish the project as quickly as possible. We took probably about two months longer than we should have.

How will this learning help me in future project work? 
It will encourage me to make my projects a little more formal. So that my projects seem more professional.

If I had the opportunity to redo this project, what would I keep and what would I change
I would like to keeps the project but I would want to change my group. We did get the job done but we didn't really work well together.

Science in The Movies: Final Paper

Where is science in the movies? Science is in a lot of things in movies. First, theres biology which is the study of life. Then, there is chemistry which is what we use to make explosions. Lastly, there is computer science and geology which is the study of the earth and the minerals in it. Science is in lots of places in the movie making industry. 

Biology is the study of life. Biology is used a lot in the make-up industry. Before the movie people start filming they have to make sure the crew is prepared. For the make up crew to become prepared the have to have a biologist come in and teach them how a body works. A biologist is a scientist who studies life. 

Chemistry is the study of which matter is composed. Chemistry is what we use to make explosions. For the explosion crew to know how an explosion works they take up to a month to study chemistry. Once the movie makers are ready to have the explosion scene they call in the explosions crew to make the bomb or explosion. When making the explosion the have to ba very cautious, so if you plan to make a bomb at home make sure to be careful. 

Computer science is used a lot in the movies. They use it because some explosions may become to expensive or to dangerous. The movie industry have to have someone in the computer science industry to edit in a giant explosion. Geology is the study of the earth and the minerals in it. When a movie needs a giant canyon they have geologist come in and explain to the crew how geology needs to be used to make the canyon.

People often ask "Where is science in the movies?". Science is in every movie weather you know it or not. Biology is used in the makeup industry when they make a fake cut in a battle scene in a movie. Chemistry is used a lot when they have to make explosions for a scene. Computer science and geology can be used when making a giant canyon in a movie. Science is in a lot of movies and you may not even know it.

Yes, I also was able to find a way to make fake cuts with makeup we use at home.

Reflection

Today Mattie Alan, Ellee and I read and online way to do a research paper. We did have and argument again but I think we worked it out. We are going to have a mini lesson on writing a research paper with Mrs. Amy.

PBL Reflection

Today I worked on my five paragraph writing for the script. There was some frustration between the girls and Justin. Justin thinks that we should do every thing his way but we cant always do that. I did get to email Mrs. Amy my research. We had a very interesting day full of arguments, which is typical for a team. Still we don't need to argue with each other all day. I am not exactly sure what I will do tomorrow but I'm sure it will be more productive!
